Standard seasoning time when preparing dishes on board

Do you know how long it takes to marinate each of the best meats? Meats will be tastier and rounder if seasoned properly and at the right time. The article will answer for you how long is pork, beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp, squid and fish!

Depending on the texture and nature of each type of meat as well as the dish that we are going to process, we have different marinating times for different types of meat. However, for each type of meat, if marinated for the necessary time, the meat will absorb the spices and taste much better. Let's distinguish the right way, the right time to marinate the meat properly!

1. Time to marinate pork and chicken
These are two meats that have basically the same marinating time. Pork and chicken are both soft meats, quite easy to absorb spices, and retain the best scent of all meats.

For common dishes such as rim, stir-fry, braised, fried, stewed... marinating time of about 30 minutes is enough. However, if we do not have time, in many cases we can marinate for about 15 to 20 minutes.

2. BEEF AND LAM BREATHING TIME
Beef and lamb are two types of meat that are very tender but also very difficult to prepare. If seasoned and processed improperly, the tender meat will become a tough rubber.

Usually, with beef and lamb monoliths used to prepare baked, pan-fried and charcoal-grilled dishes, they are seasoned with a little salt and pepper and a few aromatic herbs such as rosemary, thyme, etc. For these dishes, the perfect time to marinate falls around 15 minutes.

3. SHRIMP SHRIMP TIME
Shrimp is a very soft and absorbent seafood, so you don't need to worry about seasoning. For shelled shrimp, you should marinate for about 15 to 20 minutes. If the shrimp has peeled, you only need to marinate for 5 to 10 minutes.

4. INCLUDE TIME AND octopus
For squid and octopus when used in hot pot, stir-fry, steamed, boiled, ... we often do not marinate to keep its sweetness. Usually only deodorize them with some fragrant ingredients such as onion or ginger.

5. FISHING TIME
Fish, like other seafood, has a lot of sweetness in its flesh. And especially, the fish has a very thin texture and quickly absorbs spices. Therefore, when marinating, you should pay attention to gently so that the fish does not seep through the salt inside.
